How to add Vimeo video to your course ?

Vimeo is a service that works genuinely for video content and allows you to expand your content sharing to a new level.

Privacy settings

You need to make sure that your permission access is set to a proper one, and here is what you need to do:

1. Open your video via library:

2. Press permission tab in a top right corner

3. Change the access type to "Hide from Vimeo". Without this step, you might see an issue that says that your video cannot be found or does not exist.

Please note, that these privacy settings are depending on the current package that you have with Vimeo itself. Therefore, if you do not have a relevant package that has this privacy setting included - please set the video as Public. 

Embedding video

Now it's time to share your video with the world :) 

1. Open your video in the library and find this button above

2. Press on it and copy your video link for further step

3. After the link was copied to a clipboard - make sure to paste it to the required field in your course builder

4. Make sure to check on the outcome in a preview section

Vimeo also has the outstanding streaming capabilities as a Webinar feature that also available with Advanced package. If you would like to add this to your course content please make sure to copy your streaming link and add it to your course contact so your customers can follow it directly to Vimeo.  

1. Create an event here

2. Copy the link to clipboard 

3. Paste the previously copied link into your course content

Your viewers will be able to open the video link but it will only work on the scheduled time that needs to be set in your Vimeo account.
