How Can I Share Access to My Community?

How to add attachments in the community chat?


Other common questions are regarding the attachments and how to add them. Please feel free to share as many attachments as you need. Here are the instructions on how to add it:

  1. Go to the Community which is located at the bottom of the app. It is represented by a chat icon with a speech bubble.

  2. You will be redirected to a new screen. Near the field where you usually type the messages at the bottom located the paperclip icon - please click on it.

  3. Once you have clicked you will see different options to attach to the chat such as image, file, or “make a photo” options.

  4. Choose the relevant file from your file gallery and click on send icon located on the right from the Type in the field.


How to use Thread Reply in the community chat


Sometimes as an owner of the app, you would need to answer specific messages. We developed the thread reply option for this. 

Once you see the interesting message, you need to press it for a couple of seconds with your finger and wait for the context menu to appear. 



Then you can click on Thread Reply, which is usually the second option and you will be directed to the screen where you type the answer to the message. Do not forget to click on Send button once you are finished writing the message

That’s it, the answer will become available to read in the thread. Please be aware that the other members will also see your reply.


How to pin the massages in the community chat


Let us imagine you created a new course you would like to announce to your auditory. For this, you would like to write a message and pin it in the chat, so it will not be lost in all the messages being sent hourly in the chat. 

For this, you would need to press the message for a couple of minutes till the context menu appears and click on Pin to Conversation button. Bum! The message is pinned. It is that easy. 



All the messages pinned might be seen in the Pinned messages folder. In order to get there, you would need to click on the Community icon located at the top right corner of the Community.
